We are starting a Men's Discipleship program for single & married men on September 19 and will meet for 8 Wednesdays from 7:30 - 9:30 PM on our All Nations Campus. This program will be led by Pastor Michael, and has a fee of $10, to cover the cost of the book. Deadline to register is September 5.
Last year, we started the discussion on mental health. It is still a difficult conversation to have amongst Asian Americans because of the stigma placed on the topic by our culture and our first generation church experiences. But as we look out into the world and even within our own community, there is clear evidence that this is a growing issue across all life stages. How do we understand and probably address this issue as a Gospel confessing and believing community?
ANCC wants to continue to have a conversation and grow in serving those in our community that may be struggling with mental health issues We want to be a safe place where people can share their brokenness without fear of feeling like second-class members. Therefore, this year's seminar will focus on the topic of depression.
