Life Together as
a Family of God
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25
Community Groups at All Nations Community Church uses three key words to describe our ministry purpose.
We figure most of us won’t remember a long-winded vision statement,
and we’re hoping that these simple words will help keep us on track as we do life together as a family of God.
Our three key purposes are: To gather, grow, and give.
GATHER
We believe that gathering in smaller groups outside of Sunday worship is an essential and powerful expression of becoming a family of God. Committing to gather in community groups is your first step towards building relationships, finding accountability, and pursuing Christ in community. Our groups gather according to life stage and region in Koreatown, Glendale, La Cañada, La Crescenta, Northridge, Pasadena, Porter Ranch, Santa Clarita, Sherman Oaks, Stevenson Ranch, and Valencia.
GROW
There is simply no greater means by which we experience Gospel Transformation than in context of community. Our approach will be as holistic as possible and include elements of Gospel Centered learning, sharing, and nurture. Its all about pursuing Christ together in community.
GIVE
The third element of our community groups will be a missional focus. We are asking each community group to consider ways in which they can share their faith and practice mercy towards their communities several times a year. We believe that the fullest expression of Gospel Growth is proclamation and demonstration of new life under the Kingship of Christ.
